To figure your BMI- Body Mass Index- do the following:
Divide your weight in pounds by your height in inches squared and then multiply by 703. (I have absolutely no idea what the significance of 703 is) – of course if you are a lot smarter than I am… which is not a huge feat, then you can just look up one of about a hundred thousand of them on the web.
Anyway- the results will tell you what you need to know:
- Higher than 25 is overweight
- Higher than 30 is obese
But, here is the kicker- it is less accurate in people that are very muscular…. so just keep telling yourself that!!

That last line is soooo funny! I think my BMI is in the “healthy” range, but I am still carrying around some extra poundage that needs to go!

Hey! Sorry about the broken leg!
Well, since you can’t go the extra mile
maybe you can focus on some upper-body strength. I would love it if you joined the Rat-Pack for the challenge. Send me an email, if you would like. Maybe your SMART goal could be around good eating, some sort of discipline towards health, anything. Even with a broken leg, I am sure you have some healthful goals!
Cheers,
Missa

Just what you said, get out of bed and go. Always easy to come up with an excuse. As you get older it is harder and harder to get the weiight off. So everyone start now.
