Out Of My Slump

Weight- 247.0- Well, I guess I have broken out of my slump. The other day my boss said that Jeff Francour couldn’t hit a stop sign with a baseball bat… that is how I was feeling. I had a 5 pound week. But, I look back and the last two weeks before that got me a long way. In other words, it adds up.

We went to the doctor the other day. Beth and baby are doing fine. Dr. Kimmel is so reassuring. Particularly in light of some of the difficulties that Beth and I have had. I have to tell you though; I have never doubted for a minute that it was God’s will for Beth and I to have another child. I think that Beth was a little closer to giving up than I was- a little closer than even she would admit to herself or anyone. I NEVER had a doubt that this was just one of those things that happens and that everything was going to be o.k.
